Eye on the Industry:
Economic conditions are changing rapidly. PCA now expects 2008 cement consumption will decline by 2.2%. HOWEVER, this could be good news for the home renovations that include overlayments and decorative treatments such as acid staining and Flattoos™. Remember, Decorative Concrete is still in its infancy.
Product News:
- StarDek has just introduced UV stable dyes and a polyurea sealer that can be rolled on. Fantastic. For more information, call Surface Gel Tek at 1.480.970.4580.
- WR Meadows has just introduced an indoor overlayment that is self leveling. I've used it and I love it.
Tip:
- Did you know Tek Gel for Profiling will remove rust, mold, mildew, ground in dirt and grime, grease and oil, etc at the same time as it opens or profiles the concrete surface? Next time you have to clean and profile, try using TEK GEL for Profiling first. You'll be amazed at the time and money you'll save.
Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter. We welcome phone calls to brainstorm projects or to answer any of your questions.
Have the Greatest Day!
