TEK GEL™ & HD24 for Profiling and Industrial Profiling was specifically designed to address common problems related to "Concrete Surface Preparation" saving time & labor and assists the applicator in "CLAIMS REDUCTION".

Primary use - Uniformly profiles/etches concrete surfaces to receive and bond with subsequent treatment products.

PRODUCT DATA INFORMATION

Gelled Acid Formula:	Hydrochloric (HCL) 18-25%
Color:	Yellow/Red Opaque
Odor:	Pungent

Solubility:	Infinite in water
Flammability:	Non-flammable
Flash Point:	>200˚C
Freeze/Thaw:	No effect. Store between 38˚-100˚F
Coverage:	200-400 sq. ft. per gallon
Storage:	Stable under normal conditions. Do not store in direct sunlight. Do not store near or mix with strong alkalis, i.e., sodium or potassium.
Shelf Life:	1 yr. In properly sealed, shipped & stored container.
CAUTION:	HD24 requires additional ventilation. Use in well ventilated areas only.
Safety Wear:	Ventilator, splash goggles & protective gloves. Avoid excessive direct contact with skin.
Health Rating:	3 Severe (Corrosive)

LIMITATIONS/INCOMPATIBILITIES

• Caution: Protect all exposed metal surfaces. Product is highly reactive with aluminum, zinc & lead, may create a structural or dimensional instability as well as pitting. Contact on metals may cause damage to metal. Product may cause flash rust on bare metal surfaces. Flush metal immediately with water.
• Avoid oxidizers, caustics, fabrics, carpets, metals & marble.
• Product is not a degreaser. Product is not intended to etch through epoxy/solvent-based products.
• Indoor Use: Provide adequate ventilation. Humidity will increase product fuming. HD24 requires additional ventilation.
• Excessive heat can cause evolution of gaseous hydrogen chloride. Avoid continuous direct sunlight.
• Do not reuse container. Follow all applicable State, Federal & Local chemical disposal regulations.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

Safety: Danger-Contains Hydrochloric Acid. Can cause skin irritation and/or burns. Wear ventilator, protective eyewear, gloves & clothing. Corrosive to eyes. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapors. Handle with caution.

FIRST AID:

Internal: Drink copious amounts of water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.
External: Wash skin with soap and rinse with water.
Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention. If overcome by vapors, move to fresh air immediately.

READ MSDS and Warranty Statement BEFORE USE

Pre-Application: Use plastic tarp to prevent unintended etching. Tape off all exposed metals. Provide ventilation fans if necessary. Pre-wetting the surface relieves some heat stress. Remove all standing water.

Application Instructions:

Outdoor with drain

1. Shake/stir product thoroughly prior to application.
2. Product can be applied using non-metallic/acid resistant tools, i.e., squeegee, roller, brush, lambs wool pad, sprayer, etc.
3. Evenly broadcast product immediately. Do not allow product to sit in a pile on surface.
4. Let stand 5-15 mins. For deeper profile use HD24.
5. Thoroughly remove all product with water & flush to sewer.

Indoor without drain

1. Repeat steps 1-4 above including Pre-application steps.
2. Using plastic tools, pull expired product into a mass & collect into a pail, add neutralizer to pail. Product can be carried off-site for approved disposal. Follow all Federal, State & Local chemical disposal regulations.
3. Neutralize surface & thoroughly clean remaining product from surface using wet vac or mop.
