› TEK GEL™ for Profiling "Your Claims Reduction Partner"
The work horse of our product line. TGP etches an opening of 120 grit sandpaper. That is equivalent to a 3 mil opening and is what most manufacturer's of industrial coatings and overlayments require in order for them to stand behind their warranty.
› HD24 - Heavy Duty
This product etches an opening of 80 - 60 grit sandpaper, which is exposed aggregate in many cases. It is also used to clean up exposed aggregate.
› Flattooing™
(tattooing images into flat concrete surfaces) Flattoos™ are a vinyl adhesive template. SGT offers unlimited graphics for concrete surfaces. Our online catalog contains over 400 stock images. Flattoos™ can be negative or positive and have no size restrictions. Stock designs ship within 2 days.
› TEK GEL™ for Flattooing™ "Your Best Choice for Decorative Concrete Flattooing"
TGF is our least aggressive gelled acid. It is used for decorative etching and to open up steel trowelled surfaces. Often a steel trowelled surface is so tight acid stain won't take. This product will give a soft suede opening, leaving most of the top laitance on the surface. This is extremely valuable - if you remove too much top laitance, acid stain won't take. Problem solved!
› Stain Mule™ "The Stain Carrier"
Contains no acid. It is a color thickener and will thicken acid stains and water based stains and colorants. Once again that control thing comes into play.


TEK GEL™ for Profiling "Your Claims Reduction Partner"

Tek Gel™ for Profiling is primarily used to "open up" smooth steel troweled concrete surfaces increasing the bondability of subsequent industrial coatings and treatments. TGP can be applied by spraying, brushing or rolling onto the surface to be treated. After uniformly profiling the concrete surface, product can be easily rinsed away with water and will not leave any soap, slick, slime or other residue on the surface. A 2000 psi power washing is recommended to remove any visible reactive salts. TGP will also remove grease, oil, rust, mold, algae, laitance, efflorescence, mineral deposits, and more.

HD24 - Heavy Duty

When the surface is "burned down" so tight it looks blue black, HD24 is the product to use. It is applied in the same manner as TEK GEL™ for Profiling. HD24 is very aggressive and requires the use of a proper chemical respirator. All metal must be protected.

The process of tattooing or etching decorative designs into flat concrete surfaces using Flattoos™, vinyl adhesive designs, and TEK GEL™ for Flattooing. Surfaces can be horizontal, vertical or inverted. This process increases creativity and customer satisfaction, essential benefits that increase the professional applicator's bottom line.

We welcome custom designs and offer free quotes on any custom Flattoo™. The best way to get a custom image to us is via email in an AI vector format. If that's not available, email jpeg, tiff, gif. We love to create.

Stain Mule™ "The Stain Carrier"

Stain Mule™ mixes with acid, water, acrylic, solvent based and dry-powder colorants. Stain Mule™ assists the professional applicator with job-site color placement and increases creativity. When using non-acid stains or dry powder colors, profile the concrete surface prior to application using TEK GEL™ for Profiling, TEK GEL™ for Flattooing or HD24. Stain Mule™ can be applied before or after Flattoo™ is removed. Testing is recommended for color intensity. Darker colorants yield best results.
